What makes Clean Water Fest so special? Take a look at all the things we offer all day long:
- Dozens of exhibit booths with games and prizes
- Walking tours of the largest wastewater treatment plant in Ohio, the Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant
45-minute tours depart every 15 minutes 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Hard-sole closed-toe shoes are required. Registration required on-site, visit our Plant Tour booth when you arrive for the latest available schedule. 40 seats per tour, space is limited. Read all our tour rules for your safety. - Guided tours of our laboratory available all day long. Space is limited. Group size will vary.
- Two 5-mile bike tours through and around our the largest treatment plant in Ohio! Registration required.
- Face painting and balloon artistry
- Touch the Trucks all day long!
- Kids Zone for playful hands-on activities, arts and crafts, stickers, and more!
- Mad Scientist live lab science show (1:30-2:00 p.m.)
- Free popcorn
- Food truck ($)
- Free shuttle to and from our parking area all day
- Gift bags for all guests

Don Thomas, Ohio Astronaut: (12:00-1:00 p.m.)
Don Thomas is an astronaut, scientist, speaker, educator, and author. A veteran of four flights, Don has spent 44 days in space and orbited the Earth nearly 700 times. Today, he helps to inform and excite the public about preparing our next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers for their missions in the future.
Science, engineering, technology, and innovation are essential to what we do, as well. Don will talk about how astronauts manage their water resources in outer space and why proper sanitation is so important on space missions.
