Water cycling: Bike tours traverse park trails, treatment plant
Our one-of-a-kind 5-mile bicycle course traveled through our Southerly treatment center and the connected trails through the Cleveland Metroparks at Clean Water Fest highlights our seen and unseen infrastructure along the way. Registration required, opening summer 2027.
Tour our award-winning treatment plant and lab
Guests of all ages can tour a working wastewater treatment plant, one of the largest of the kind in the country, our Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center. Nearly 300 acres of working equipment gives visitors a real-world experience of the innovation needed to protect clean water and public health. Our award-winning and state-certified laboratory is also a tour highlight and we have the photos to prove it.
